Equity Release To Fund Purchase and Commercial Development Project
This is another case where equity release from one property was required to finance the enhancement of a commercial property, and the building of a new house on land that the Client owned unincumbered.
One part of the construct was the provision of a self-build stage payment mortgage from a reputable High Street lender. This included funding to pay for the foundations of the property to be laid.
Further stages of the build were retrospectively financed by the lender following completion and checking of the workmanship and a re-assessment of the property value.
