Cashing In On Builder Incentives

This Client was looking to purchase residential investment properties and had negotiated a 10 per cent discount from the builder.

Buy-to-Let mortgage lenders are often cautious to lend money where the Client has little of his own cash invested, regardless of the value of the property, so it was excellent news when the mortgage lender (knowing the full circumstances) granted a mortgage at 87% LTV.

The Client only had to finance the remaining 3% deposit.

This was the first of several Buy-to-Let properties he purchased.
